A poor day today! The weather again causing havoc meaning only the all weather meeting at Southwell survived! The Bet of the Day was the first selection to run and after being well supported into a 4/5 odds on shot ran very disappointingly, never really getting into the race! The lay of the favourite Borasco was closer than hoped but the step up in trip which i thought might stretch the selection was proven as he found little in the final furlong!
The final selection Moonshine Creek was one of the best backed horses of the day and was positioned well, travelling up with the pace when he sadly broke down and was quickly pulled up mid race! The Basher
