A very good day! Denied a perfect 3 out of 3 by a head! The Each Way selection was available at some very big prices this morning, as big as 14/1 in places and was no suprise to see it well backed before the off. After sitting just off the pace the selection was pushed round the bend to lead down the straight only to be headed in the final few strides as the two horses pulled well clear of the field! The Bet of the Day broke the run of 2nds putting in a gutsy performance, staying on well for pressure and winning comfortably by 5 lengths eased down in the end! The day finished well with a win and place lay of the favourite Samizdat who despite the positive jockey change still showed signs of why after 25 attempts he hasn't won a race! The Basher
