Each Way of The Day: DIAMOND GEEZAH 4.35 Goodwood , 5/1 , 2nd of 9 , PLACE WINNER! (Early Price 7/1!)
Another mixed day! The lay of the early morning favourite Sassain started the day well as the selection was headed after the second last and finished 13 lengths behind the run away winner! Sheila's Toss was disappointing under her penalty and looked one paced through the last 2 furlongs finishing back in 5th! The each way selection was well supported into 5/1 before the off and when Diamond Geezah was switched out to hit the front 2 furlongs out and quickening away the race looked there for the taking! The selection traded as low as 1.24 in running but was closed in and headed in the final few strides by the joint favourite Royal Exchange under another well timed Richard Hughes ride! The Basher

A disappointing day with a chance taken on a couple of bigger priced runners! The lay of Art Man in a competitive race was the perfect start. The selection was under pressure early but stayed on to challenge for the places just missing out back in fourth! The Bet of the Day was very poor and not helped by a less than convincing ride!The selection was outwide round the bend and never looked to be traveling smoothly before being switched to the rail to come home one paced through the final 2 furlongs! The each way selection opened at 25/1 and was well backed throughout the day going off a 14/1 shot! A mixed day! The lay of the favourite On Her Way started the day well as the selection was leading a furlong out but was closed and quickly headed by two fast finishing opponents and just managaed to hold onto third by a neck! There was late support for the each way selection Contract Caterer with Richard Huges chasing a quick hat trick! When the selection was pulled wide for a run and started to make good headway it looked a possibility, trading as low as 2/1 in running when hitting the front 2 furlongs out but unfortunately couldn't stay there and finished a respectable third! The Bet of the Day was hugely disapointing in what looked a weak race and after being held up early was never really put into the race, easing down towards the finishing! The Basher

A good day but one which could have been so much better! The day started frustratingly as Artic Cosmos was picked above Rebel Duke as the Bet of the Day after several switches! The selection was outpaced early but made strong late headway to run within 2 lengths of the winner, Rebel Duke!!! Patavium was selected as the Lay of the Day with a well fancied favourite in the field who duly obliged running away with the race by 10 lengths with the selection back in third! Cat Junior looked a huge price this morning and drifted to an even more generous starting price! After being held up early the selection was flying home but could only get within a head of the winner! The selection traded as low as even money in running and denied a huge return on the day, having to settle for the place money! The Basher

2 out of 3 winning selections today! The day didn't start to well despite Towy Boy halving in price before the off! The selection was pushed along to lead after breaking slowly and turning off the bend for home looked to be going well. Unfortunately the selection paid for his earlier exertions and was headed in the final furlong missing out on the place money back in fourth! Mr Harmoosh was put up on his last run and this looked an easier race today! Under a patient ride the selection was ridden to take the lead 2 furlongs out and stayed on well to win by a comfortble 21/2 lengths! The lay of the favourite Excellent Guest ended the day well as the selection failed to beat a single horse home! A dissapointing day with only the lay selection making a return! Whiskey Junction tried to steal the race from the front but Rough Rock was always travelling well in behind and quickly asserted in the final furlong to leave the selection back in second! The each way selection was given an intresting ride from the front and quickly weakened when asked for an effort with 2 furlongs to go! Loss Leader was also dissapointing after being well positioned in behind the leaders but showed no turn off foot and couldn't go with the pace! The Basher

A much better day after a couple of disappointing results! The day started perfectly with a chance taken on Prime Circle who's not known for reliability but was as game as ever when challenging on the outside over 2 furlongs out and stayed on well to win by a 1/2 length! The lay of the early favourite Tropical Bachelor was comfortable despite the selection making late headway but could only finished 3rd and missed out on the places! Rocklandslad had the chance of making it a perfect 3 on the day in the hands of Tony McCoy but after meaking smooth headway after a circuit to lead the selection found nothing for pressure and was quickly pulled up! After an excellent couple of weeks and absolute shocker today 3 losing selections! The day got off to the worst possible start with the lay of the favourite Zero Money! The selection broke well, grabbed the nearside rail and was never headed with lots of rivals who didnt look to be travelling on the ground in behind! The each way selection Artsu travelled up with the pace but when asked to quicken found little for pressure and dropped back through the field dissapointingly! The Bet fo the Day was well supported before the off and traded lower than 2/1 in running but quickly went from travelling well in second to tailed off in the matter of a couple of fences! A real mixed day! The each way selection came for some late support but was under pressure early and forced wide round the bend! As usual the selection stayed all day but unfortunately the front two had got away and Mr Willis could only finish 3rd, landing the place money! The lay of Danimix didn't go to plan despite trading over 20/1 in running! Despite the selection being under pressure early his jumping was much better than some of his rivals and ran on well to win comfortably! The markets spoke in favour of all today's selections resulting in two winners! The day started poorly with a chance given to Ninth House who had twice previously been unlucky in running! Unfortunately today there were no excuses as the selection never threatened and was always in rear after being backed into clear second favourite! The day quickly improved with the big drifter Smart Red, who raced far to keen and could only run on into second, collecting on the lay! The day finished perfectly with the well backed Celestial Girl who was given a patient ride to power home and win by a comfortable 3 lengths! The Basher

A fantastic day and a huge profit made! The day didn't start to well however! Despite First Fandango being heavily backed the bet of the day showed no turn of foot in the finish! After traveling up with the pace and going well the selection traded as low as 1.64 in running but was soon headed over a furlong out and finished back in third! The each way selection was put up at 25/1 this morning and looked a huge price after a warm up race a couple of weeks earlier! The selection quickly came for support and was sent off one of the best backed horses of the day at an sp of 8/1! Ursula was in behind the pace when asked for an effort over a furlong out and quickly asserted to lead, running on to win by a length and a half and land the gamble! The lay of the favourite Grand Diamond ended the day perfectly as the selection never really threatened after weakening over 2 furlongs out and missed out on the places! The Basher

A good day and a healthy profit made! The day started perfectly with Hermoso who this time wasn't ridden a circuit early and ran on gamely to win by 3 lengths! The lay selection unfortunately spoiled the day as Dereks made all and never really looked in trouble before clattering through the last to win by an easy 7 lengths! The day ended with the third winner from 3 on the day as To Arms was delivered with a well timed challenge making smooth headway through the field to lead before the last and stay on to win by 4 lengths! Lay of the Day: RED GULCH 5.40 Chester , 7/2 , 2nd of 6 , WINNER!
Each Way of The Day: BEYAZ VILLAS 4.15 York , 12/1 , 3rd of 10 , PLACE WINNER!
A mixed day! The each way selection was first to run and went from the front! After leading most of the race the selection hung right before being headed in the final furlong finishing 5 lengths back in third but landing the place money! Prohibit was the Bet of the day and charged home from the back of the field but could only finish 3rd in a three way blanket finish despite trading as low as 1.33 in running! The day ended well with the lay of Red Gulch who was beaten by a recent regular selection Mejd! Despite staying on the selection never looked like catching the winner who was always just doing enough! The Basher

A very good day with two winning selections again and only a neck of a perfect 3! The each way selection ran first and in a competitive field ran a huge race! Despite trading as low as evens in running the selection just failed to get up on the line! The lay of the favourite Crackentorp was easier than expected! The selection lacked the turn of foot of the front two over 2 furlongs out and was a good seven lengths back in third! The day ended perfectly with another chance given to Kay Gee Be after being selected on his previous run! A mixed day with all 3 selections finishing second! The Bet of the Day's good run came to an end despite Tyfos running a big race and trading as low as 1.62 in running. Only the fast finishing favourite who ran on well denied a 5th winner in a row! Again the each way selection ran a big race taking the shortest route against the rail before being switched out for an effort over two furlongs out. Despite quickening well the selection could only get within a length of the short priced favourite! The day ended well with the lay of Quito Du Tressor who travelled well in the main and looked a real player when hitting the front 2 out! Fortunately the selection was headed on the flat and finished 2 lengths back in second! The Basher
