A mixed day! The Each way selection ran a big race from the front and was only gathered in late when short of room but would have struggled to hold on! The lay selection was comfortable enough despite Trumpstoo making some late headway but finished out of the places! The day ended disappointingly with the well back favourite Eton Forever finding one to good when weakening in the final furlong! The Basher

A dissapointing day! Ask Jenny was friendless in the market, broke slowly and had to make ground through the field. The selection only managed to get as close as 3rd but didn't receive the greatest of rides! The each way selection was made more difficult with a late non runner making only the 7 runners and when Archie Rice only decided to leave the stalls after giving 10 lengths to his rivals that was the end of the race as the selection failed to get on terms! The day ended slighty better with the lay of the favourite Big Wave Bay who raced keen throughout and failed to challenge for the places! The Basher

A head of a perfect 3 out of 3! The stay started well with the Bet of the day Yahrooh who had the form in the book and looked the winner from a long way out, cruising to the front a furlong out to win by a comfortable 23/4 lengths! The each way selection ran next and was very well supported coming with a late charge but could only get with in a head of the winner. Had the selection not been forced to run wide and check off the bend the race would have been there for the taking. The lay of Coin From Heaven ended the day well. The selection drifted in a competitive race and was ridden early, weakening through the final furlong only beating one home! The Basher

A shocking return today despite the markets speaking in favour of the selections! The each way selection more than halved in price from the early 7/1 but after running keen early found little from 2 furlongs out and was eased down! The lay of the early morning favourite Sophie Beau was backed up as the selection drifted all day but after hitting the front from a furlong out the selectio always looked the winner! Bet of the Day: SABOTAGE 2.00 Newbury , 5/2 , 2nd of 9 , LOSER! (Early Price 4/1!)
Lay of the Day: ALWAYS BOLD 2.55 Bangor , 9/4 , 2nd of 7 , WINNER!
Each Way of The Day: ALAZAM 4.05 Bangor , 10/3 , 1st of 11 , WIN + PLACE WINNER! (Early Price 9/1!)
An excellent day and a very healthy profit made! The day started poorly tho as the well backed godolphin horse Sabotage was held by his stable companion despite the money coming and could only finish second! The lay of Always Bold got the day back on track as the selection was let down by a number of poor jumps and despite running on never looked like catching the winner! Alazam was one of the best backed horses of the day and looked a very generous early price! The selection was held up and made good progress through the field and despite a desperate mistake at the last was driven home to win by 1/2 a length and land the gamble! Normal service will resume tomorrow (Monday 24th May) after a weeks holiday! The Basher

A much better day with two winning selections from 3! The lay of the early priced favourite MyPlaceLater started the day well as the selection was under pressure early and missed on the places! Jurisdiction looked a big price this morning and was backed accordingly! The selection went into the lead from 4 out and cruised to a 12 length victory! The day ended a little disappointingly with the favourite Lady Brigg only managing to finish second and never looked like catching the winner! The Basher

A mixed day with both back selections finishing a frustrating second! Nightjar was finishing fast and had he not been hampered over a furlong out would have given the winner a real challenge!
