A definate day for the traders! The Each Way selection was first to run and was one of the best backed horses of the day from an opening 7/1 into a clear 3/1 favourite but unfortunately never dealt a blow and quickly weakened, being pulled up before the 3rd last! The Bet of the Day was a similar story being well backed but jumped poorly throughout and was pulled up without challenging! The positive was the win and place lay of Glenwood Knight who was let down by a couple of poor jumps at the business end and failed to challenge for the place money!
