A very good day after a couple of near misses! The lay of Water Ice started the day well. The selection was weak in the market and after racing keen early suffered in the final furlong and dropped back through the field! Red Cadeaux has looked a horse full of potential but never looked to be traveling today. The selection was pushed along 3 furlongs out but made no impression! A horse to look out for at the Ebor meeting and maybe a better a price! The day ended perfectly with a second chance given to Ellen Vannin after being selected on her previous run which was hugely disappointing! Today looked an easier task and after breaking well and sitting in behind the pace the selection stayed on well to lead from the furlong pole and win going away! The Basher
