A fantastic day and a huge profit made! The day didn't start to well however! Despite First Fandango being heavily backed the bet of the day showed no turn of foot in the finish! After traveling up with the pace and going well the selection traded as low as 1.64 in running but was soon headed over a furlong out and finished back in third! The each way selection was put up at 25/1 this morning and looked a huge price after a warm up race a couple of weeks earlier! The selection quickly came for support and was sent off one of the best backed horses of the day at an sp of 8/1! Ursula was in behind the pace when asked for an effort over a furlong out and quickly asserted to lead, running on to win by a length and a half and land the gamble! The lay of the favourite Grand Diamond ended the day perfectly as the selection never really threatened after weakening over 2 furlongs out and missed out on the places! The Basher
