A disappointing day with a chance taken on a couple of bigger priced runners! The lay of Art Man in a competitive race was the perfect start. The selection was under pressure early but stayed on to challenge for the places just missing out back in fourth! The Bet of the Day was very poor and not helped by a less than convincing ride!The selection was outwide round the bend and never looked to be traveling smoothly before being switched to the rail to come home one paced through the final 2 furlongs! The each way selection opened at 25/1 and was well backed throughout the day going off a 14/1 shot! After being held up early the selection made good progress up the rail and ran on well being last of the 5 who went clear but unfortunately wasn't finishing fast enough just missing out on the places!
