The lay bet started the day well as the front running Grace N' Favour weakened approaching the last when the pace was lifted and could only finish 3rd of the front 3 who had pulled well clear! The Bet of the day kept the run going despite racing keen and putting in a poor round of jumping! Under the usual strong McCoy drive the selection ran all the way to the line to hit the front up the run in and win by a neck! The day ended a little disappointingly as the each way selection missed out on the places despite late support! The selection was very slowly away but made up good ground mid race and was staying on well in a blanket finish just a length of the winner and missing out on 3rd by a neck! The Basher
