A mixed day! The Bet of the Day was a big fancy and was well supported throughout the morning! Unfortunately within the first couple of jumps it was clear something was amiss and Captain Cee Bee returned with a burst blood vessel! With Sizing Europe putting in a good round of jumping and claiming a well deserved victory it was even more frustrating that the selection was unable to go head to head with him again! The day got better from here on with the lay of Flores Sea who was one of the first off the bridle and although making late headway could only get a never nearer 3rd! Zaynar looked the value at 11/1 this morning in the champion hurdle and was backed accordingly putting in an excellent run, staying on strongly up the hill and claiming a well earned place! Bring on tomorrow! The Basher
