A mixed day! The lay selection looked well beat in running after two shocking blunders but ironically as Denman fell in the Aon under his new jock, Sam Thomas produced one of the rides of the day to get Winterwood back up after trading above 25/1 in running and unfortunately sink the lay bet! The Each Way selection was heavily backed all morning and was sent of the 5/1 favourite from an opening 9/1! Despite traveling stylishly and touching evens in running a less than fluent jump 2 out looked to blow his momentum and had to settle for the place money! Unfortunately Sammy Spiderman was a late withdrawl but one i've been waiting on to run! The Basher
