A very poor day by any standards! The lay selection got the day off to the worse possible start. Sir Sandcliffle despite being under pressure 3 furlongs out and trading as big as 22s in running stayed on well to win by just over a length! The each way selection never dealt a blow and after chasing the leaders was under pressure mid race and quickly tailed off! Grey Command was well positioned and had every chance 2 furlongs out but couldn't quicken as he did 3 days ago despite going unpenalized! Bring on tomorrow! The Basher
