Today was a reminder why this sport can be so frustrating at times! The Each Way selection was first to run and looked a huge price at 11/1 this morning! After setting the pace More Shennanigans was jumping fluently and starting to turn the screw on his rivals. When leading and traveling well approaching the 9th the selection was trading as low as 1.65 in running before the riderless Overlaw who unseated at the second fence drifted right across the selection taking him off the course and missing the fence! A real bad beat! Things didn't get much better in the next race with the well backed Tuscan King. The selection traveled like the winner off the bend trading as low as 1.10 in running but his exertions of the last few weeks might have taken its tole going down by a head! Again the lay selection improved the day with Footy Facts who ran well in defeat but might have gone off to quickly as he had little chance with the winner in the closing stages! Bring on Tomorrow!
