A small profit made on the day but again a frustrating one! The Bet of the Day along with 4 other horses in the race had to be pulled up when taking the wrong course after the first circuit! A 12 day ban for all the jockeys but of no benefit to the punters! The Each Way selection traveled well in the main but struggled to stay in very testing ground. The persistance of Nick Schofield and the unfortunate fall of Timmy Murphys mount at the last so Sir Bumble land the place money! The day finished well with the lay of the favourite Seek the Fairland.
