A disappointing day! The Each Way selection was first to run and took a keen hold, struggling to settle and quickly paid for this when the paced quickened weakening 4 from home. The Bet of the Day was very well supported and looked a sure winner turning for home with the jockey sat motionless and trading at 1/5 in running! Unfortunately the horses inexperience got the better of him in the closing stages as he hung badly across the track and looked very green and was headed in the final furlong! Again the lay selection made the day slightly more respectable. Despite Jordans Light running well he never looked like catching the winner finishing 11 lengths back in second.
