Not the best of days! Copper Bleu was hammered in the market and the odds against this morning would have been a very nice return had he jumped better. The race was decided at the last as Copper Bleu came upsides the winner looking the stronger of the two before clattering through the last fence landing sideways and blowing his chance to take command up the short run in! Exceedthewildman having been selected when winning on his previous outing i believed to be still well in and 6/1 looked more than generous. The selection after he dwelt at the start was pushed along to race prominent and swinging off the bend had every chance of winning trading as low as 2/1 in running but found no racing room when coming to challenge and had to check his run! The day finished well with a lay of Glingerbank as i fancied the favourite strongly in this race who duly won leaving the selection 8 lengths back in second! The Basher
