A disapointing day! The win and place lay of Woodlark Island started the day well who was freindless in the market. A criminal lead was given to the eventual winner with the selection 40 lengths back in 3rd. Colonial Jim raced prominently but his jumping was far from fluent and quickly dropped off when the paced quickened. The Each Way selection was the most fustrating as i had narrowed it down to two with the alternative Justcallmehandsome winning well but i was drawn to the bigger price of Crushing who fluffed his chances at the start when drawn wide and struggled to get into the race!
