Lay of the Day: CHARIOT CHARGER 1.50 Taunton , 13/8 , 5th of 8 , WINNER!

Each Way of The Day: WEST WITH THE WIND 1.10 Ludlow , 10/1 , 2nd of 9 , PLACE WINNER! (Early Price 16/1!)

A good day that could have been so much better! West With The Wind almost got the day off to a perfect start running a huge race at a very big price! Had he jumped the 4th, 3rd or 2nd fence from home a little better he would have caught the odds on favourite up the running, instead having to settle for 2nd beaten 3/4 of a length! The win lay of Chariot Charger looked comfortable from a long way out and a mistake 3 from home so him fall when in a held 3rd! Tidal Bay had the chance to finish an excellent day but a shocking blunder at the 7th virtually ended his chances and he did well to finish as close as he did. A horse that tests the patience of the best! The Basher

    Unlucky today bash , West with the wind should have got up, think Jacob looked a bit weak in the finish. Backed pocket aces as well as the lay on chariot so good day:) left tidal bay alone he's done to much of my dough before, think he's very over rated.
