A very good day but still feel it could have been so much better. Rebel Woman blew her chances at the start, a chance you take in an amateur riders race but was finishing like a train. Only a couple of lengths behind the eventual winner and ran a lot better than her placing suggests! Watched the replay several times and one to keep an eye on! The Lay of the Day ran next and jumped poorly throughout finishing a tailed off third. The final selection couldn't have won any easier at a very generous price, easing down to win by 14 lengths after a fluent round of jumping! The Basher

Excellent pics today, rebel woman was finishing very strongly, needed to be bounced out from stall 14 to get across but couldn't have gone much worse for the young jock. An extra furlong and it might have been in the shake up.jez
